The high contrast b/w pictures are the best I have ever seen. Sometimes I apply the A6 preset to the positive film JPGS. The camera delivers a similar, often better picture with the Positive Film Preset. In most cases, the JPGS from this camera do not require any post-processing.
It’s always fun to look at the pictures on the monitor. Dirty, analog but not too much, pin sharp, a little noise… but fantastic. The JPG images of the GR III have a very special look.

I never had a camera that took pictures with such beautiful skin tones. Ricoh GR III – High Contrast B&W – SOOC (Straight Out of the Camera) Architecture, landscape, lifestyle and mainly I use it to take pictures of my family. I use the GR III for all possible genres. I think the GR III is completely underestimated and wrongly attributed only to the genre of street photography. You can take brilliant pictures till the end of time. I feel like I’m never gonna buy a camera again. It took me a while to get warm with the camera. I did not immediately recognize the advantages of the GR III over my Sony RX100 V or Canon G9X. To be honest, it was love at second sight.
